Welcome to Melplash Church

 

Melplash Church is a Church of England parish church, in the Beaminster Team of the Lyme Bay Deanery, part of the Diocese of Salisbury.

We welcome visitors, holidaymakers and newcomers to worship with us. Our church has disabled access and a T-loop system.

Statement of mission

The Melplash Parochial Church Council is committed to worshipping God and serving Him in the local community, and loving our neighbour.  We exist to help people discover and then grow in the knowledge of God’s love and purposes for us in Jesus Christ.

We do this by:

·       Encouraging people to worship, pray, listen and bear witness to the living God

·       Ensuring that there is a service in the church every other week

·       Planning a variety of services to attract more people

·       Being involved in Melplash by organising community events and activities

·       Being available for all in the community when needed
